99 left to go!

I filled my first bag of shoes yesterday. Thank you to the families that have already donated their used shoes. I'm halfway through a second bag, and it's so exciting watching this little pile of potential grow!

Upcoming this weekend:

1. I'm sending out press releases to local news, spreading the word about the Drive Thru Drop Off on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Drive by with your gently used shoes between noon and 7pm.

2. I'm starting a Facebook page for 2K Cookies. There you can message me directly, share upcoming events, schedule shoe pickups, and more! I'm a novice to social media, so take it eash on me.

3. I'm reaching out to local churchs in the area regarding the Shoe Drive. I'll be requesting 3 things: for 5 church members to donate 5 pairs of used shoes each, for those members to likewise invite 5 others to donate shoes to the Drive Thru Drop Off weekend on October 3-5, for them to please pray for my family and our adoption!
